At the end of April, another construction started in Jankovcova Street, in the neighbourhood of the well-known Prague Marina Nova project. Daramis has taken the first steps towards the realisation of a memorial garden in honour of the exceptional personality of Tamir Winterstein. The Memorial Garden will provide the residents of Prague 7 with a place to rest, relax and play while commemorating Tamir's invaluable contribution to the development of the Holešovice Marina district, as well as his visionary ideas and unique personality. In the centre of the garden will stand an unmissable set consisting of a large 3D printed chair, stool and lamp, symbolising Tamir's enduring presence.

Tamir's legacy:

Born in 1949 in Bratislava, Tamir Winterstein was an exceptional and inspiring personality for all who were lucky enough to meet him. After his university studies he founded his own construction company. In 2000 he moved to the Czech Republic and with the Lighthouse Group he helped shape the new look of our capital city with successful projects such as the Harfa shopping centre and the redevelopment of the Holešovice harbour.

Memorial Garden Concept:

The memorial garden on Jankovcov Street will become a testament to the vision, achievements and philanthropic spirit of Tamir Winterstein. The centrepiece will be a collection of 3D printed objects, consisting of an imposing chair, complementary stools and a luminous lamp, intended to represent Tamir's intangible presence overseeing the environment he helped shape. The Prague mosaic surrounding the memorial will reflect history and link Prague's past and future.

We'll continue to share more information about the progress here and look forward to the summer when the garden is completed!
